PARENTS: How To Raise Amazingly Brave Kids!

THRIVING FAMILIES EPISODE

God wants your family to do more than survive - He wants your family to THRIVE!

(Please take a moment to comment and share this with your friends because It seems easy but it helps us so much! THANK YOU!)

I love the story of David and Goliath that I shared earlier this week on courage. It’s a great story to share with your kids to teach them about courage as well. It’s found in 1 Samuel 17:12-50.

What’s interesting to me is how all of the adults treated David in the story. His older brothers mocked him for speaking out courageously, and King Saul dismissed him as just being a boy, not knowing anything about real battle.

None of them realized that God was preparing to do a mighty work through David—someone no one expected—so that GOD would get all the glory.

Later in his life, David wrote in Psalm 138:3, “As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength”

In today’s video, as always, I’m sharing tips to help your family thrive:

  • What it was that made David courageous enough to fight a giant
  • Helping your kids activate their faith and take risks for God
  • Why rescuing our kids may be hindering their faith

I can only share so much in these video messages, so I created a full series called The Blessing of The Father for Families. I want to get it into your hands because you'll notice the huge difference it can make! It's a six-week set and I made sure everyone can afford it because I want to see God's miraculous healing begin in your family.
