LARRY ELDER EXPLAINS : BLACK AMERICA NEEDS FATHERS
Larry Elder did a great Job explaining the crisis in Black America. But all of America is in crisis because too many children don't have fathers who are in their story. We are watching our country being destroyed because too many of our fathers, and I am also on this list, have not risen up to become the husbands and fathers our families need. You can change in the entire trajectory of a child with a present and loving father. How does a young person navigate the real anger he feels from the injustice without a dad to help them process their anger.
There are two fathers in this video who are standing and making a difference. But it is also our turn men, and God is calling all of us. God promised us in His word how we can heal the destruction of our culture.
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” (Mal. 4:5-6)
Healing begins when we allow God to turn our hearts back to your children. God is counting on you.
You are the perfect father to turn your family and community around.
“Look around you and see, for all your children will come back to you. As surely as I live,” says the LORD, “they will be like jewels or bridal ornaments for you to display.” (Is. 49:18 NLT-SE)
Here is a couple of things you can do for your kids and the kids in your neighborhood.
- Spend time as a father talking through the issues that are going on right now.
- Make sure you pray over your kids every day. Their country is also under attack.
- Ask the Lord to give you a young man or woman outside of your family that you could spend time with. You might be the first father figure to reach out for their sake.
- If your kids are struggling, take them to the Lord each day and you will watch "your children come back to you!"
Praying for you!

I would love to hear how you are fathering your family and reaching out to those who don't have dads. We can make the same difference is people that Christ has made in us.
