FATHERWARDS: Why is Love so Hard? (HINT: It Can Be Easy!)

#Fatherwards Episode:

Have you ever wondered why it’s so easy to bless someone you’re IN LOVE with and curse the ones you’re OUT OF LOVE with? What changed? Your relationship—or more specifically, how you feel about your relationship. Today we’re talking about how to move out of that emotionally turbulent state to a place where you can bless people no matter what they’ve done to you.

1 Peter 3:9 says, “Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.”

Now let’s not be shy – we’ve all felt like cursing someone we used to love! So how do we work past repaying evil for evil, especially when it’s deserved? The key to this kind of blessing and love is only found in the love of Jesus.

While the rest of the world is telling you to go with your emotions and sing rapturous songs of love—I want to tell you how to fill your heart with love even when it hurts.

Listen in to this week’s video as I share the following:

• Why we move from lovers to haters
• What the brokenhearted and Jesus have in common
• How to bless others—even those who’ve hurt you

I've got soo much more to share that I've written it out in an EASY workbook for couples. If you're not in a relationship right now, I can't think of a better way to set up your next relationship for success, than to get this video and workbook.

and don't forget - it's NEVER too late for God to change your story!
