Ed Tandy McGlasson is the founder and executive director of The Blessing of The Father Ministries. He is a pastor, best-selling author, renowned conference and corporate event speaker, and a five-year veteran in the National Football League. As a former lineman in the NFL, Ed played with the Giants, the Jets, and the Rams. Ed has a big vision to reach hurting families with the love – and the Blessing – of the Father through his testimony and life-changing message.
Ed’s call to ministry began in college, after being healed from a career-ending knee injury that led to his conversion and faith in Christ. Ed details his life in his best-selling book The Difference A Father Makes, including the loss of his heroic military dad in a tragic U.S. Navy plane crash in 1956. This book has changed thousands of readers' lives with over 300,000 copies sold since its release in 2004. The Difference a Father Makes has also been translated into Spanish, and Ed has since authored two other highly acclaimed books: Be Loved (2009, Ampelon) and The Father You’ve Always Wanted (2013, Baker).
Ed entered the ministry in 1984 and started sharing his testimony and speaking at evangelistic crusades and planted a church, Stadium Vineyard in Anaheim, California in 1988. After 31 years Ed god called Ed to give himself full-time to reaching men and giving them hope they can become the husband and father their family needs.
Today, Blessing of The Father Ministries helps men and women of all ages to live under the power of God’s blessing and smile, impacting the way we relate to God, our spouses, our children, our families, friends, and people we encounter in our everyday lives. Ed’s message strikes the core of an epidemic: a fatherless society. He believes it can be addressed and healed through the hope found in the blessing of our Father in Heaven.
Ed has spoken at numerous conferences and corporate events throughout the country and across the world, including many rallies for Billy Graham crusades. He and his wife of 35 years, Jill, live in Southern California and have five adult children with four more through marriage, and 8 amazing grandchildren.
The Blessing of the Father is that moment when Jesus connects us to the love, grace, favor, and blessing of His Father that we can become the person that God has called us to be and we can live out the life that He has made for us.

Hello and welcome to the Blessing of the Father Ministries! Have you ever felt like your dad doesn't love you or wondered why he never blessed you? Have you thought about how your life might have been different if you'd had a present father in your life, someone who was rooting for you and knew how to celebrate you in the important moments of your life?
Do you worry about how you're parenting your own kids? Have you ever said, "I'll never do that to my kids!!" only to find yourself doing the exact same thing? Beloved, you're not alone. Imagine what it would be like if you could have a Father who knew you so well He always had the right word of encouragement for you. What would it be like if you could call Him up right now without fear of shame or scorning and talk to Him about the struggles you're having with your kids, your spouse or your loved ones? What if you had a Father who didn't just give you unsolicited advice but built you up for who you are and really believed in you? What kind of difference would that make in your life?
Beloved, I've been teaching the message of the Blessing of the Father for over 25 years at events and conferences all over the world, and the response we've seen has been incredible. I'm here to tell you, you can have the Father you've always wanted. I've designed this site with you in mind: here you will find the healing you've been looking for along with tools to help you in your journey with your family. Look around, stay awhile and begin the journey of discovering the Father you've always wanted!
The Father loves you and sent His Son to let you know.
